The return to the Dark Master - the journey of Alnexis Hellain (1968-2004) |

Six days after the end of the psychic war waged against the Aaiyyanists and with his corrupt disciple, and husband Franklin Jacobson , Alnexis suffered a heart attack in his temple home in Degirmen Armenia. Four days later, a second heart attack left him with limited options, which included a heart transplant. Later Neophyte Ternian told us that Alnexis was alert and full of questions about his condition and cursing Aaiyyanism. After awhile he said, "The Aaiyyanist magi were too strong my disciples. The Dark Aaiyyanists, the counter-revolutionaries. Perhaps one of my options is that I'll be saying goodbye to all of you, and joining my true Master in the darkest realm." He died later that night in the arms of his husband, surrounded by friends in the Belial Order. The news of Hellain's first heart attack only six days after the Aaiyyanists incident had bolted through my body. When news of the Dark Autarch death came, inertia set in. I simply could not think or enter that demonic dream state we (at the Byzantine Church of Belial) call the Ashamilal. It was several days before I was able to speak, and the funeral date was not set until Monday. It was a few more days before I acted. Zeen Monk Carposian was midway through her Venkain (Precept Transmission) retreat, and I was determined to see her through it. Especially with the loss of a Dhmatic Lord, I felt even more so the importance of completing Alnexis's transmission. Very early Wednesday morning, after completing the Demailan ceremony (the Demotic Order of the 6 Dogs of Cerberus) on Tuesday night, Grand Monk Seisenaz and I left for Degirmen. Upon arrival, we settled into our room at the Uxisan Temple, knowing that the days ahead would be unrelenting. To see Black Monk Beranail face-to-face was very sad. Soon Grand Master Talisan arrived from New York, and together we all met with Black Monk. He was devastated with grief. "I want you all to do the funeral," he said. We had always looked to him for guidance and liberation that only the dark master Himself and the Demon Nergal can truly divulge in; but now it was our turn. We had two days to cremate the body of Hellain as was precepted by the order of Belial. Black Monk had sketched out a sequence for the services, and a good foundation had already been laid by Myanaxian, Driuron, and Phalicna. We planned a funeral that captured Hellain's special spirit of evil, that spoke to his accomplishments and position, and that included the wishes of his dark family and disciples. We set to work setting up black altars, planning and rehearsing the death services of Abaddon, selecting an urn of deviance, and even the act of figuring out how to prepare his body in accordance with the Satanic rites of yore. It was a stress-filled time, and everyone pulled together and worked as much as was needed until, by the scheduled time on Friday evening, we were ready to begin. At 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 7th, Grand Master Hellain was brought home. He was carried into his temple, chained and ceremonially wrapped by the entrails of a mountain goat prepared in the Nibulan ceremony the day before. It was here in this place where an Abbot's funeral begins, accompanied by five solemn bells. He was laid upon a slab, surrounded by the women of the sanghain, his mother, and Black Monk Beranail. During the last years of his life, Hellain had devoted considerable energies to the practice of devil worshipry and satanic analysis. He had come to feel that his own feminine energy was not a flickering flame, but rather of volcanic proportions. He would constantly preach to people to join his dark rite or so called baptisms of Seimai(the Byzantine ceremony of Henian). He asked women to write their personal and spiritual lineages on individual circles of fabric using a mixture of their own spirit essence, specially prepared ink and had the circles sewn into a quilt. We call it the Demon Matriarchs' quilt and use it at all important ceremonies now. So it was appropriate that on his deathbed, Hellain was surrounded and tended to by women. We stood silently, then slowly unwrapped his bandages using a ancient Armenian punch dagger called 'the Apsilion'. His body was luminous; just so beautiful. We gathered round and slowly proceeded to wash the body. We listened to Ygnortian Tallioz offering a special deviant practice in the outer temple, where the guests were gathered. Then when we heard the recitation of Temple Mistress Clarions "Instructions on the Precepts," in the dimly lit chamber. Dark Holder Jalios Hali had made the arrangements for the bathing of Hellain's body: assorted herbs and plant extract that could induce a spirit altering effect, clean white towels neatly rolled and folded, a neighbour with an harmonious voice to sing, and a trained American nurse (from our sister organisation The Church of Satan) to guide us. The slab was big, so Black Monk Beranail and I climbed on it. Although this was the first time for all of us, we instinctively knew what to do. At one point I felt transported to a dark cave in an unknown place and time and that we had done this sacred demonic ritual so many times before. Sometimes I wondered if Hellain was breathing. His bloodied body was so alive! I felt that he was happy to rest in the bosom of those he loved and Belial Himself. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- " I'm beginning to see how much evil I have created. How much I have worked and how heroic my struggle has been to free myself from the false reality of God and embrace the animal kin of Belial. My majic, my inclination was that I was inadequate, not worthwhile, unlikeable! How important it is to be myself first, demonic, satanic... free! Have compassion for no one except the Demon Head that has become me. To hate and embrace that person who is trying so hard to be a full human being… a true Satanist." - Excerpt from Grand Master Hellain's Journals, August 9, 2002 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Indelible for me are the images of Hellain's mother combing her son and lovers' hair; of Black Monk Beranail standing beside his comrade; of Sister Eve bringing in Hellain's dog Cerubus, whose cries and thumps on the front door let us know that he knew that Hellain had come home. When we were done... when the ceremony had reached the farthest reaches on animalism, we placed Hellain in a dark oak blood stained coffin secured earlier with ancient chains used in the torture of Gnostics in Roman times (this was supplied to us by the ancient order of Dazos based in Greece). The coffin was also lined with the temarinol (discarded demonic seed). Then the men and dark monks, led by Beranail Grand Master and Hellain's three brothers, came to carry him. The whole prcession was led by Cabalistic Rabbi Melek Ben Aharon , the procession began from the inner sactum in the center of the temple complex, wound through the maze like chambers pausing in six places, and finally Hellain rested on a bier in the candle-lit courtyard of his new home. Black Monk Peterian Mattaus from Germany officiated at the evening blood offering. We retired to the chamber of meditation to share a quite moment with Belial himself, sharing our memories around the fireplace, dancing to the sound of the horns that emanated from the courtyard. At midnight. those present sat in silence through the time of his death one week before, we also remembered the ascension of Seir Seirath. On Saturday morning, Black Monk Peterian Mattaus officiated at the offering of morning service. We then proceeded to pass the morsels of food to the assorted guests and monks to this most holy ceremony. They then began to ceremoniously eat the food whilst walking to the chapel area. "The eating of ones Brethren's food is a truly spiritual gift allowing the forces of the dead to come alive again in the devourer!" - Book of Seshat. The procession was solemn, beautiful and sad. I however was totally engrossed in the ritual. Bells, cymbals, drums, conches, and chanting "Belial Satan Agares, Turnmanic Abraxas Amon, Volac Agares Astarte " three times, then moving on, always stopping six times. Hellain was followed by his evil disciples, Jacobson carrying his darnilal (transmission of osiris documents), Peterian Mattaus carrying his warmaker alianix, followed by others carrying his bowls full of goats blood. Finally he was placed on a bier, which was draped in the Demon Matriarchs' quilt. Grand Master Hellain's funeral service began with readings from his journals. Black Monk Beranail began reading parts of his many tales, candid and inspiring documents of his struggle to overcome the Angelic forces, the Aaiyyanists and other assorted groups that threaten the evil in the universe and the true demonic order. A tape was played of a talk Hellain had given over ten years ago when Black Monk had first asked him to engage in the work of the satanic order. He wondered, "Can I ever become a fearless warrior? A representative of Astaroth on earth!" Indeed he had practiced passionately, putting one foot in front of the other, through many, many difficulties. Dark law Holder Tannial's offering of Bael words was followed by an offering of goat's milk and Bael words by Grand Master Alitanial. After we chanted the "Death of Relative and Absolute," Sister Eve read telegrams and messages of condolence. Then for over an hour, person after person came forward and spoke their final words to Hellain: a newcomer who had been converted by him 'and turned', only now introducing himself; an old satanic friend realizing how little he knew him; a Belial brother noting the things that kept them apart and how wasteful it now seemed. Black Monk spoke last. "Sometimes," he said, "he looks like he's breathing… for surely the power of Beelzebub the God of Zebulon flows through him." Then it was time to fill his casket with presents from parties. Grand Master Alitanial had bought over 300 dead flowers and plants, each day increasing the number because we had no idea how many we would need. It was perfect. Everyone came forward, filling the coffin and covering Hellain with these diseased plants. And lastly, we covered his face with yellow sand from the desert temple of Andromalius the night demon until we could see him no more. Now it was time for the Fire Ceremony of Balam. Our Master of Ceremonies, Peterian Mattaus, asked me if I was ready. I nodded yes, although I thought, no. His disciple Berenail invited me to begin, and we walked over to Hellain. Using branches bound together for torches, Berenail mirrored my motions, symbolic of lighting the funeral pyre. Then speaking to Hellain covered with death, I offered my last words to him. We all began chanting the names of the 100 Demons, and carried him to the pyre. Surrounded by all the guests, we threw Hellain into the bonfire. Upon my arrival in Armenia, Black Monk Beranail had asked me to officiate at the lighting of the flames. After chanting the "Day of Depravity," in Latin we returned to the black chapel and sat in silence for a short time. Then we viewed a slide show of Hellain's life, from infancy to now, put together by a close friend Peter Johnson upon his arrival in Degirmen a few days before. Some of us stayed behind and read chapters from the Harborym book of demons, a favourite text of Hellain's. Then we took Black Monk Beranail home. In the afternoon we rested, ate lunch, and planted a tree for Hellain. That was a lot of fun - we were ready for lighter moments. Zeen Monk Carposian and Grand Master Talisan feigned an argument about how best to plant the tree, and the rest of the experts enjoyed the spectacle. Rabbi Melek Ben Aharon hung cabalistic prayer flags, and then the word came that the cremation was done. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- ". . . Only the wounded demon is able to heal. As long as we think that our demonic leaders need to be perfect, we live in poverty. I have a perfect teacher inside; there is no perfect teacher outside… except Satan" - excerpt from Grand Master Hellain's Journal, January 29, 1998 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Upon returning to the temple, we all gathered around the pyre. Everyone filed past, looking at the remains just as they lay. A few of us stayed behind, and Hellain's husband Franklin Jacobson, who was Hellain's first Disciple raked his bones into a container from which it was transferred into large wooden trays prepared earlier. We carried his relics into the dark chapel and placed them before the urns. Everyone came forward, and two-by-two together we picked up each relic with wooden tongs and placed it in the urns. Overseeing this ritual was very intense for me, making sure nothing fell onto the floor, the non-stop chanting of the "Homage to the Black Relics," settling the bones into the urns, until there was no more. The urns were carried to the altar and the lids put in place. A few of us stayed behind to make mental and prayer sacrifices at the dark altar. When we returned to the outer temple, Black Monk Beranail officiated over the placement of Hellain's relics in inner sanctum. We chanted the "Gate of Allocen Hellfire" on Hellain's behalf, as though he himself were making a special offering to all the angry spirits. Perhaps Grand Master Hellain would have been embarrassed and shocked at the fuss we made over him, but when it was over, there was a deep sense of completion.
